Hi, I’m Kristi-Lynn!

I work with women-led businesses to make their digital operations clearer, lighter, and more sustainable.

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked with organizations of many sizes—nonprofits, universities, small businesses, and enterprise teams—supporting the systems that sit underneath their day-to-day work. That includes websites, internal tools, workflows, and the platforms teams rely on to communicate, manage information, and serve their communities.

What I’ve learned across those environments is that problems rarely live in one place. A website issue is often connected to unclear processes. Tool sprawl is usually a symptom of decisions made in isolation or collected over long periods of time without reassessment. Systems become hard to maintain not because people aren’t capable, but because no one has the time (or distance) to step back and assess the situation objectively.

That’s the role I tend to play.

Since 2016, through my practice Diatyposis, I’ve worked directly with clients to understand what’s in place and why, strengthen what’s working, and make deliberate changes where structure is missing. Sometimes that results in a new website or redesigned materials, but often it means simplifying workflows, consolidating tools, and helping teams make better use of systems they’ve already invested in.

My goal is for you to work less and get more done.

My approach to client work

That systems-level perspective shapes how I work with clients day to day.

I focus on clarity, structure, and deliberate decision-making. The goal isn’t to add more tools or complexity—it’s to build only what’s needed, and to build it well.

I’m thoughtful about the work I take on and transparent about how I work. When I partner with a client, it’s because I believe in the direction they’re heading and see a clear, practical way to support it.

Clarity over Jargon

I’m direct and plainspoken. You’ll understand what’s happening, why decisions are being made, and what tradeoffs exist.

Build for independence

I design systems that are clear, maintainable, and easy to manage—so you feel confident using and evolving them over time.

Respect for boundaries

I value mutual respect, clear scope, and honest communication. Those are essential to doing good work.

Holistic thinking

I consider not just what we’re building, but how it will be used, maintained, and supported over time.

Where does the name Diatyposis come from?

Diatyposis (die-uh-tie-POH-sis) is a rhetorical term for setting ideas out clearly and systematically—often to instruct or guide action.

In practice, it’s about presenting ideas deliberately, so people can understand what matters and act with confidence.

My role isn’t to prescribe solutions or push one “right” way of doing things. It’s to help you see your options clearly, understand the tradeoffs, and build a foundation that fits how you actually want to work—now and as your business grows.
